ontario ongoings

While I've spent a large portion of my trip to Ontario relaxing, reading, trying to shake off one virus--while picking up another cold, and getting things cleaned up and cleared up on my computer, I've also enjoyed some time out and about in various places with my family. We've been out for coffee a few mornings at the wonderful Groundswell Coffee House; which is unfortunately closing this week. I played horseshoes on Labor Day (my team took 2nd). Our family went out for a fancy dinner at The Globe. I can now say that I have seen Lake Huron. Tomorrow we are heading to Niagra Falls. Last time I was there, I spent 20 minutes quickly strolling the Canadian side before my guy-friends wanted to get back on our roadtrip to New Hampshire. I'm also hoping that my mom will help me with a few mending projects prior to my departure on Sunday evening. It's so great to be home!

Well Ripster, I can't say that I'm not sad you're going. Because I am. There will be a large javelin shaped hole in my heart until you return. I can't imagine that track will be as good as it was last year. No matter what, I always had javelin in the dark to look forward to. Or you with your cool sunglasses and video camera at meets. What I'm trying to say is that life just isn't the same without you I guess. There, I said it. Happy? :0)
